Leslie Martin, Esq. is an associate attorney who focuses her practice on representing clients in all aspects of family law, including issues relating to divorce, equitable distribution, cohabitation, alimony, child support, emancipation of adult children, custody rights and parenting time arrangements, premarital agreements, domestic violence, and post-judgment matters.
Ms. Martin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. During law school, Ms. Martin served as a student attorney in the Seton Hall University School of Law Center for Social Justice, representing clients who were victims of mortgage scams.
Prior to joining Law Offices of Edward R. Weinstein, Ms. Martin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Catherine Fitzpatrick, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division, Family Part, the Superior Court of New Jersey in Mercer County. During her tenure as a law clerk, her responsibilities included drafting orders pertaining to motions for custody, parenting time, emancipation, child support, and alimony as well as assisting self-represented litigants in resolving their matters through mediation.
Ms. Martin is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the Mercer County Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Bar Association.
